Wilderness Adventures offer an amazing off track adventure walk in Whian Whian State Conservation Area near Minyon Falls. This is not your normal bushwalk. It’s a full-on adventure for those wanting to go way beyond the tourist sites and head deep into the wilderness.

Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk (Old Peoples Walk) – The Hinterland Trail
This trail has been designed in partnership with traditional owners including the Native Title Holders. While the full trail is not yet open to the public this amazing new multi-day walk is turning heads. Sections of the walk opened in 2024, with the full walk opening in 2025.
It’s proved very popular already, and once the full walk opens the public will be able to complete a four day hike from Unicorn Falls to Minyon Falls, through some of the most remote and scenic sections of Mount Jerusalem and Nightcap National Parks.
The tour operators for this walk are yet to be announced by National Parks, but day tour and overnight tour operators are expected to be selected to operate on the new trail. More information can be found on the project page.
